The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military hospital remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked. New Parent Support Program

We have dedicated rooms throughout Whiteman Air Force Base to support mothers who need a secure and sanitary location to pump and express breastmilk.

Lactation pods are at the following locations:

  • For MXG: Building 43, Room 119; Building 4076, Room 110; Building 5214, Room 109
  • For OG: Building 35
  • For 509 BW: Building 509, Room 212
  • For MSG: Building 711, Room 208B; Building 3036, Room 131
  • For MDG: Building 2032, Pediatric Clinic; Building 2032, Basement Leche Lounge
