Doctor on Demand offers 24/7 access to urgent care and mental health services through its telemedicine platform, which is available to all beneficiaries.
Who can use Doctor on Demand?
Active duty service members must obtain a referral before using Doctor on Demand. If a service member uses the service outside 509th MDG business hours, they must contact the 509th MDG the following business day to obtain a retroactive referral.
Beneficiaries can use this service as frequently as they like. Furthermore, retirees and dependents can access Doctor on Demand without referrals.
What does Doctor on Demand offer?
Doctor on Demand can treat the following symptoms and conditions:

- Cold and flu
- Cough
- COVID-19
- Headaches and migraines
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Joint Pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Sexually Transmitted Infections
- Sinus infections
- Skin rashes and other skin conditions

- Urinary Tract Infection
Doctor on Demand can treat the following with online therapy:

- Borderline Personality Disorder

Doctor on Demand cannot treat the following symptoms and conditions:
- Broken bones
- Chest pains or numbness
- Ear infections
- Loss of consciousness
- Severe burns or lacerations
- Traumatic brain or spinal injury
- Vomiting or coughing blood
- Providers are unable to write prescriptions for controlled substances such as codeine or oxycodone.
